There’s something about Eden Park and the All Blacks.

New Zealand prevented England from scoring a try in the final minutes of the second of two summer test matches as the All Blacks scored 10 points in the final 20 minutes to beat a scrappy England team that was trying to win in New Zealand for the first time in 21 years. 

New Zealand won 24-17. England is now 0-9 against the All Blacks in New Zealand since 2023. 

Perhaps it was the Eden Park impact. 

The All Blacks’ national stadium in Auckland has now seen 49 matches without a New Zealand. The last time they lost at the 124-year-old stadium was in 1994 against France. 

The All Blacks now head to San Diego, Calif. to face rival Fiji on July 20 on FloRugby and the FloSports app.

The last time the All Blacks lost at Eden Park in Auckland, New Zealand, many of the players in today’s game weren’t born yet. 

The All Blacks have not lost in Eden Park since July 1994 when France beat them 23-20. That’s 46 wins at Eden Park and two draws for New Zealand in its national stadium. Eden Park opened in 1900.
