Bedford Blues are delighted to announce the return of international representative rugby this month as England Men’s Deaf play host to their Welsh counterparts in the Broadstreet Cup fixture on Sunday 28th April (KO 4pm).

Goldington Road has played host to three international clashes in recent years, most recently a year ago for the nail biting 28-26 England U19 success against Italy U19.
Prior to that, two sellout attendances saw U20s Six Nations and Women’s Quilter International clashes between those two same nations.
This year, England and Wales will both be using the game as preparation for scheduled tours to the Southern Hemisphere later in the year.
The two sides last met at Cardiff Arms Park in June 2023, Wales triumphing 21-15. That sees England heading into the game looking to regain the trophy in-front of a home crowd.
Bedford will also host the same women’s international fixture on the same day, taking place at nearby Bedford Athletic RFC on Wentworth Drive (KO 2:30pm).
