There’s something about Eden Park and the All Blacks.
New Zealand prevented England from scoring a try in the final minutes of the second of two summer test matches as the All Blacks scored 10 points in the final 20 minutes to beat a scrappy England team that was trying to win in New Zealand for the first time in 21 years.
New Zealand won 24-17. England is now 0-9 against the All Blacks in New Zealand since 2023.
Perhaps it was the Eden Park impact.
The All Blacks’ national stadium in Auckland has now seen 49 matches without a New Zealand. The last time they lost at the 124-year-old stadium was in 1994 against France.
The All Blacks now head to San Diego, Calif. to face rival Fiji on July 20 on FloRugby and the FloSports app.
