The federal government is investing $825 million to build out equipment at Albany Nanotech that will house clean rooms and lab equipment.

New infrastructure means building a workforce.

The Semiconductor Industry of America predicts there will be 100,000 engineering jobs needed over the next decade to support these advancements across the country.

“To achieve that, really universities, industry, and organizations like ours have to work together to focus on creating that pipeline to ensure that we’re going to be able to deliver those products that people need in the years to come,” said Paul Kelly, COO for NY CREATES.
